GETTING HERE IS HALF THE FUN

Getting to the island is a timeless adventure, and it’s a Vineyard tradition shared by generations of visitors. No matter how you get here, we know that the journey will put you in the right frame of mind-leaving the mainland where it belongs, on the mainland!

Please visit the website above for FULL DETAILS. Below is an excerpt...

By Air

Direct air service to Martha’s Vineyard is available year-round via Cape Air, and seasonally via American Airlines, Delta, and Jet Blue. (Taxi or Uber from Martha's Vineyard Airport (MVY) to hotel (15 min.) MVY airport taxis available on the curb in front of Gate 4)).

With a Car

Traveling to the island via The Steamship Authority is the only way to bring a car to the island. We recommend making reservations in advance in order to guarantee a space on one of their car ferries. Steamship Authority ferries depart from Woods Hole, MA to terminals in Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.

If vehicle space is full when you want to travel here is helpful information to get you to/from the Vineyard with your car.

Without a Car

For guests traveling to the island without their cars, we recommend taking advantage of our VIP Arrival Package with the Island Queen ferry. This convenient option includes mainland parking and a Winnetu shuttle pickup from the ferry dock.

By Ferry

Traveling to Martha’s Vineyard by ferry is a quintessential experience shared by generations of visitors. No matter how you get here, we know that the journey will put you in the right frame of mind-leaving the mainland where it belongs, on the mainland!

Adam Cab: (508) 627-4462

Admiral Cab: (508) 693-8660
