The love story of Tyrus and Lisa began when they met in 1995 in Mannheim, Germany during their military tour and they quickly became friends.

In 2002 their friendship blossomed to an amazing love affair. In September 2005, they were married on the beach of Virginia Beach, VA in a sunrise wedding.

Through the years they're still "living the honeymoon” in what they call a cozy cottage for two in their home in Upper Marlboro, MD. While they had no "pitter-patter of little feet" of their own, they are considered “Auntie & Uncle" to many children, related and unrelated alike.

Their love for one another has made them inseparable as they've traveled far and wide (...the Caribbean, Canada, Fiji, France, Greece, Japan....) ....which leads us to this event.

Twenty years later, September 2025, where they will be renewing their vows in a small ceremony on the beach in Martha's Vineyard, with just a few close friends and family.
